Coconut “Haupia” Mac Nut Sauce for Pancakes (using 4 oz coconut syrup mix)
~ 3/4 Cups of Water
~ Bring water to a vigorous boil. ~ Whisk dry mix (entire bag) into boiling water.
~ Remove pot from heat after syrup starts to thicken.
~ Add 1 Tablespoon Salted Butter (Melted).
~ Add 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract.
~ Add 1/8 Cup Chopped Macadamia Nuts
~ Continue to whisk syrup until mixture is smooth.
~ Pour into dish or bowl and serve warm or chilled. (Don’t leave syrup in pot).
